WHY MORNING

Calmer water, better wildlife, softer light

Before noon the water off Marina Flamingo is flat and the coast is quiet. Easier snorkeling, better odds with dolphins, turtles and rays, and the best light of the day.

Certified crew

Bilingual captains and crew, a real briefing before every sailing, and eyes on the water all morning.

Gourmet on board

Fresh food from our own kitchen: ceviche, wraps and fruit, plated and served on board by your crew.

Hotel pickup included

We collect you across Flamingo, Potrero, Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Conchal and Brasilito, in our own vans.

Snorkel, paddle, float

Guided snorkeling with gear for all ages, plus kayaks, paddleboards and floating mats at every stop.

Morning catamaran tour FAQ

What's the difference between shared and private?
Shared means a small, curated group on board. Private means the whole boat is yours โ€” your route, your menu, your music. Both sail the same coast at the same golden hour.
How far ahead should I book a morning sailing?
As early as you can, especially December to April. Shared mornings run with a minimum of 12 guests and we confirm your sailing 1 to 3 days before the date. A private charter sails on your date regardless of group size.
Is the morning sailing good for young kids?
It's our most family-friendly time. Calm water, snorkeling gear sized for kids, and a crew that keeps an eye out. Kids 5โ€“12 have their own rate, and infants under 4 sail free.
Is the morning better for seeing marine life?
Usually, yes. There's less boat traffic and the water is calmer, so there's more to see and it's easier to spot. This coast is home to dolphins, sea turtles and manta rays, and humpback whales pass through from August to January. Nothing on the water is ever guaranteed, but calm mornings give you the best odds.
